THE DESIGN

The bar has been designed with our guests' sensory experience in mind. Every element - from acoustic treatments to facilitate both enthusiastic banter and quiet conversation, to extremely comfortable seating - has been carefully thought out. We have incorporated warm lighting and highlighted rich wood detailing to reflect the warmth of our space, the glamour of our guests, and the history of our area. Additionally, we have a large stage to accommodate the enormous talent of our performers, both local and visiting.

“There are fewer joys more fundamental to the human spirit than to be enraptured by an excellent story”

THE TOWN

Deniliquin, a charming town nestled in the Riverina region of New South Wales, Australia, is a hidden gem that exudes a warm, welcoming atmosphere. It lies on the banks of the Edward River, a large tributary of the Murray River, offering a picturesque setting that is both tranquil and inviting. Renowned for its rich pastoral history, Deniliquin is a hub for sheep and cattle farming, and its agricultural heritage is a point of pride for locals.

The town's natural surroundings are a paradise for outdoor enthusiasts. The Edward River provides an idyllic backdrop for a variety of water-based activities such as fishing, kayaking, and water skiing. The river's meandering path creates a serene environment perfect for picnics, leisurely walks, or bird watching, with the area being home to a diverse array of birdlife.

Deniliquin's town centre is a delightful blend of history and modernity, where historic buildings stand alongside contemporary shops and cafes. The local community is friendly and tight-knit, with a laid-back lifestyle that is infectious to visitors. The town's cultural scene is vibrant, with art galleries and museums, such as the Yarkowa Indigenous Museum, the Depot Car Museum and the Peppin Heritage Centre, providing insights into the region's history, the pioneering spirit of its early settlers, and the varied interests of its current residents.
