    The hosts of Storyteller reserve the right to refuse entry or service at their sole discretion.

    Dress Code

    Neat & clean casual, minimum.
    No work or sportswear. No thongs.

    Conduct

    Storyteller is a safe place for all people and expects appropriate conduct at all times.

    No shouting, abusive language, shenanigans, tomfoolery, sillybuggers, or horseplay.

    Creepy or Quarrelsome behaviour is not welcome and risks a ban from the venue.

    Cover Charges

    There is no cover charge unless there is a performance or other event.

    Members receive priority entry and reduced or no cost for events unless otherwise specified.

    We collect personal information for the purposes of ensuring the safety and security of our patrons, and to comply with our legal obligations under NSW State Law and Liquor Licensing Regulations. Additionally, any written communications to Authorities and/or the Liquor Accord are considered and marked as confidential.

    Personal information that we collect may include your name, date of birth, address, ID photo, and licence or card number. We may also collect video footage from our CCTV cameras for security purposes and/or as requested by an Authority. This information will only be used for the purposes for which it was collected, and we will take all reasonable steps to ensure that your personal information is kept secure and confidential. You are not permitted to view any of our CCTV footage unless consent is provided by an Authority or in other exceptional circumstances.

    By entering Storyteller, you agree to the terms of this privacy policy and consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of your personal information as described above.

    By entering Storyteller, you also agree to comply with all our house rules and to follow any instructions given to you by our staff. You acknowledge and accept that Storyteller utilises video cameras and ID scanners for security purposes, and that we may collect and store your personal information as described in our privacy policy.

    You also acknowledge that Storyteller serves alcohol, and that excessive alcohol consumption may lead to impairment, injury, or death. While Storyteller staff will carry out their Duty of Care and Responsible Service of Alcohol to the limits of their reasonable ability, you accept all responsibility for your own safety and well-being while on our premises, and you release the venue and its owners, employees, and agents from any liability for any injury, loss, or damage that you may suffer as a result of your visit to Storyteller.

    You further acknowledge that our venue has the right to refuse entry or service to anyone at the staff’s discretion. This includes is but not limited to:

    Intoxication, antisocial behaviour, or violation of the dress code or house policy.

    We may also ask for and/or scan your ID to confirm your age.
