THE BARON’S SINISTER CIRCUS
Halloween at Storyteller
Once upon a time, a strange circus came through on a night just like this one. The posters appeared as if out of nowhere, the tent rose in a field nobody remembered owning, and the whole town went to see the show. Some even volunteered to perform, and yet no one quite remembers what happened that night...
By dawn the tent was gone, the only thing left was a poster declaring that the Lion Tamer had gone missing. A mystery wrapped in an enigma.
Perhaps they’ve been waiting behind our deep black curtains ever since. Yearning to tell the story of that fateful night.
On Friday the 30th of October we open the tent for secrets again, and rumour has it they’re looking for new acts.
COME DRESSED FOR THE DARK
Who was it there, in the shadows, just out of sight? Was that you? The Clown, keeping watch with his balloons? The Contortionist clinging to the walls? The Sideshow Freak that no one dared visit? The Strongman dragging something in from the field?
A costume gets you in for free, and the more unsettling it is, the better your chances at the prizes.
INSIDE THE TENT
* XcXb, Body Painter: sit in the chair and leave as one of the circus’s exhibits.
* The Double Act: you’ll be dealt a card at the door. Someone in the crowd holds its twin. Find them and take on an act together.
* Sideshow Portraits: stand under the spotlight, take your number, and join the sideshow.
* The Fortune Teller’s Table: turn three cards and hear what the night has planned for you.
* The Hunt for the Lion Tamer: the troupe left a trail. Follow it and name the guilty before midnight.
* The Midnight Grand Parade: at the stroke of twelve the ring opens for a dance-off. Pick your song and earn your place and glory.
THE PRICE OF ADMISSION
$10 at the door, or free if you arrive in costume.

Everyone’s first drink is on the house, and the bar will be pouring salacious specials until the tent comes down.
